Personal Testimony on MaquiPlus

Personal Testimony
on Maqui Plus
The SuperJuice

BENEFITS AND RESEARCH

Maqui berry is an exotic deep purple berry found in Chile, known as Chilean wineberry. It is reported that Maqui berry has an exceptionally high antioxidant capacity. The major antioxidants in Maqui berry are anthocyanins, the group of deep-purple phytonutrients found in blue and purple color fruits. Anthocyanins have the antioxidative property which can fight against free radicals, thus delay the aging of cells due to exposure of free radicals. Research indicates that anthocyanins can reduce risks of aging diseases such as heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and reduce diabetes complications. It also helps improve blood circulation in the eye peripheral capillary and slows down degeneration of eye and vision. Many in vitro & in vivo studies also showed that high anthocyanins content enables Maqui berry to promote insulin functions and regulate blood sugar levels.

Artichoke is widely cultivated in the Mediterranean, Europe, Australia, and North America. It is a medicinal plant with high antioxidants, minerals, and fibers. The important antioxidant in Artichoke is Cynarin which has been proven beneficial for health, in particular, improving liver functions. It enhances the antioxidant capacity of the liver, hence aiding in its detoxification functions.

Goji berry is a small orange-red berry which is well known in traditional Chinese herbal medicine. It is rich in vitamins and antioxidants e.g. Betacarotene, Lycopene, L.barbarum Polysaccharides. Goji berry is widely used as functional food with broad health benefits such as aiding detoxification process in the liver, promoting the liver regeneration, anti-tumor and inhibit cancer cell growth (e.g. colon cancer, prostate cancer, and liver cancer).

A study in 20 adults who smoke or drink alcohol regularly showed that Maqui Plus+ supplementation significantly increased glutathione (GSH), the activities of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), glutathione reductase (GSH-Rd), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and decreased thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) compared with the placebo. Additionally, hepatic and renal functions were not adversely altered in Maqui Plus+ ingested subjects. It is suggested that Maqui Plus+ effectively promotes the endogenous antioxidant activity, and can be consumed as a functional supplement for people who are in danger of suffering oxidative-related chronic diseases.

May iba pa akong kwentong Maqui. Abangan sa blogs ko.

Ito po ang ingredients nya:
Red Grape Concentrate 2690 mg
Chokeberry Concentrate 1345 mg

BROWMOTICONS: The Language of Brows

BROWMOTICONS:
The Language of Brows

"Kilay is Life?" then you should read on.

Scientists have finally figured out why we have eyebrows. According to recent findings, highly mobile eyebrows evolved from the heavy brow bridge common among our ancient ancestors to help modern humans communicate better, non-verbally.

It seems surprising that science is only just backing up what a lot of brow aficionados have already known for years—brows speak volumes about you. A subtle arch can reflect your inner mental landscape. A simple furrow can express emotional turmoil. Are your brows perfectly shaped and groomed? It could imply your attention to detail and grooming habits. Do you have unruly brows in serious need of a tweeze? Maybe it was a busy week and you need to unwind. Confusion, surprise, happiness, hostility, interest, joy, playfulness, anger—your eyebrows can say it all.

Add this to the fact that expertly shaped brows can flatter your face shape as well as accentuate your facial features and it makes sense how brows have now become an intrinsic part of your grooming routine. And that’s why Happy Brows is putting a lot of focus not just on creating brows that perfectly frame your face; they’re doing so with an understanding of the truth that brows can communicate.

“Happy Brows began the Speak With It campaign to put a lot of focus on just how important our brows are. Brows are the ultimate truth-tellers and it can speak volumes about who you are, what you’re thinking and how you feel. Hinging off that, we’re introducing the concept of Browmoticons to visually illustrate the true language of brows,” explains Arvin Amaro, Marketing Head.

Of course, brow shaping will and always be primarily defined by factors such as your face shape and lifestyle. But regardless of shape, your brows will indeed say a lot about you.

Choose one from Happy Brows’ Browmoticons below let your brows do the talking—

Brow-O-Wow

Confident, bold, and simple. Brow-o-wow is about owning what you’ve got. It’s defined by a natural shape accentuated only be a subtle arch that creates that perfect balance between cute and assertive.

Brow-lentine!

Brows with a little more sex appeal features a distinctive arch and are a little closer to each other. Define your arch for a sassy vibe and be sure to create a gentle fade as it moves outward to ensure that your brows don’t look too severe.

Brow-matic

Relaxed and neutral brows communicate ease and happiness. Brows ride naturally over the eyes with a defined arch to communicate a more cheerful vibe. Fuller brows also illustrate youthfulness that makes the look more natural.

Jomie Hospital and Me after our Brows session
at #HappyBrows, Ayala Center, Cebu

At the end of the day, there’s more to that brow shape than you think. Look in the mirror and check out what your brows are saying today and be sure to visit Happy Brows and put in the hands of an expert who understands that.

How about you, what is your Browmoticon?

Strawberry de Cantipla Eco Farm

Strawberry de Cantipla
Eco Farm

Mayron silang Strawberry Ice Cream, Strawberry-Mango Float, Strawberry Leche Flan, Strawberry Shake, at marami pang iba pati na rin ang Burger with Strawberry?!?! Yes! Mayroon sila nyan!

Strawberry Mango Float

Strawberry Leche Flan

Natakam ba kayo?

Exact location: Sitio Cantipla, Brgy. Tabunan, Cebu City (National Transcentral Highway) - about 1 hour away from Cebu City

PAMPERS: Lakaw na! Cebu moms dance to the new Pampers Less lawlaw, Go Galaw song!

PAMPERS: Lakaw na!
Cebu moms dance to the new Pampers Less"lawlaw", Go Galaw song!

Cebu, Philippines (June 22, 2018)--Adorable, smiling babies and their proud mothers recently gathered for the fun Pampers Baby Dance Party to celebrate baby’s freedom of movement in a less lawlaw diaper, a much-anticipated event that thrilled moms and babies in Cebu.

The fun-filled Pampers Baby Dance Party series started in Manila when the mother and baby tandem of Toni and Seve Gonzaga launched the new and improved Pampers Baby Dry.

All looking cute and huggable in colorful tutus, bows, ribbons and wigs, babies and their mothers learned the dance steps of the catchy Pampers Go Galaw Jingle as they took part in a play activity especially designed by Gymboree Cebu.

The upbeat song highlights how babies can go galaw in a less lawlaw diaper, thanks to the new Pampers Baby Dry. Babies swayed joyfully to the music, showing their newly acquired dancing skills to their moms. The superiority of new Pampers Baby Dry diapers was better understood by the parents as they watched their babies move around freely and without any difficulty while wearing diapers that fit snugly and do not hamper active babies’ movement.

There’s a compelling reason to make sure that babies wear diapers that do not sag or leak. According to Go Naked: Diapers Affect Infant Walking, a 2012 study from the US National Institute of Health, the bulk caused by saggy or lawlaw diapers may hinder a child’s ability to walk properly. Not too many mothers realize this, however. According to a nationwide survey done by Pampers, only 8% of moms think that lawlaw diapers can affect how babies move. Pampers has not only increased awareness of the impact of saggy diapers to baby’s movement, they’ve also found a solution!

Lawlaw happens when pee is accumulated in a single spot in the diaper. A lawlaw diaper also means wetness and leaks, as well as the need for more frequent diaper changes.

To address this, Pampers Baby Dry introduced its well-loved magic gel channels to absorb wetness evenly and distribute it throughout the whole diaper. This puts an end to lawlaw, allowing babies to move with more freedom. This helps in their development as babies become free to explore and learn from the world around them. It also makes for less unsightly looking diapers, so that babies look even cuter and more huggable in photos taken at the Mom & Me photo booth.

“At Pampers, we put baby’s development at the core of our innovations. We want them to be comfortable and to move undisturbed by a saggy, lawlaw diaper. Pampers Baby Dry now with magic gel channels ensures everything that a mother can ever ask for – seeing wiggly happy babies dancing, bidding lawlaw goodbye” says Adie Villegas, Pampers Communication Manager. “Since we ‘ve launched more and more moms #ChoosePampers for their babies to have the most fun #PampersGoGalaw days”

Our Happy baby... Ryker Miguel
Thank you, Pampers!

Pampers Baby Dry is available in major supermarkets, groceries, and drug stores nationwide, as well as online on www.lazada.com.ph

PH Contact Centers Remain at the Helm of Customer Experience Delivery of the Future

PH Contact Centers Remain at the Helm of Customer Experience Delivery of the Future

The local contact center sector is rapidly evolving to match changing requirements from customers.

The rapid evolution of the local contact center sector is arming it with the necessary requirements to deliver customer experience in the future. Contact center companies in the country are exhibiting high level of readiness to take on more challenging tasks that require higher level of skills for both voice and non-voice jobs.

Currently, the Philippines is the biggest source of contact center services, expected to take 16% to 18% of the total outsourced services globally in 2018, based on data from The Everest Group, a Texas-based global consulting and research firm. The country remains ahead of its nearest competitor in this market—India. The data also indicates that the Philippine contact center sector generated US$13 billion in 2017, which will continue to grow by 7% to 9% by the end of 2018.

In Cebu City, one of the most supportive local government units (LGUs) to the sector, the city government is aiming to add at least 50,000 agents to its current roster of call center professionals, a move that is estimated to increase revenue infusion into the city to P10 billion monthly from the current P7 billion monthly from its over 100,000 agents.
Mr. Jojo Uligan - CCAP President
Mr. Butch Valenzuela - CCAP Board of Director
Mr. Bong Borja - CCAP Board of Director

To achieve its goal, the city is asking call center firms to let their agents continue pursuing further career development by allowing them to resume schooling for a college or master’s degree while working. This move, the city government says, can also be at the advantage of the sector, which could promote further upgrade in skills and education of their employees.

Meanwhile, in its 2017 assessment of the industry, The Everest Group cited good language skills and high empathy of the local agents coupled with competitive costs for the country’s maintained strength in contact center value proposition. The research company added that cultural affinity to Western countries and government incentives like tax discounts and talent development programs also contribute to the local industry’s continuous growth.

The same study also emphasized that while contact center jobs are still supporting voice-related services, a rising number of tasks involve non-voice channels as well. This shift to non-voice is playing a significant role in the evolution of jobs within the industry.

Voice is still a strong service

A research by the Contact Center Association of the Philippines’ (CCAP), the Job Complexity Survey, indicates that voice service is still a key service offering with about half employees doing voice accounts and the other half non-voice services.

The survey also gives a quick glimpse on the ongoing shift in contact centers’ business models and evolution of agents’ jobs, as reflected in the nature of current job tasks. Of those agents who are doing voice jobs, only 14% are engaged in low-skill tasks. Such traditional voice-job responsibilities include telemarketing, order taking, and provision of simple customer service assistance.

New skill requirements

Those engaged in jobs requiring middle-level skills comprises of 51% of the respondents. Their job tasks range from providing solutions to customers’ problems, processing health claims, domain process assisting, providing technical support, bills collections, and outbound selling.

High-level skill jobs are being done by 35% of the respondents. Some of the tasks they do are decision making for troubled projects and accounts, providing technical support, complex claims processing, technology service desk works, and financial analysis, among others.

These and more insights will be put on further focus in the upcoming Contact Islands 2018, with the theme ‘Leading with CX in a Digital World.’ The two-day annual conference is set on July 25 and 26, 2018 at Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa in Cebu. To register, visit www.ccap.ph. -
